What is the difference between a 1500 and a 1550, and how do you tell?

Hi,
The Compaq Aero was first released as the 1520 with the operating system of
WinCE2.0 (if I remember correctly). The 1530 was similar but with a
slightly newer operating system (WinCE 2.11?). The 1550 is the same
hardware but with WinCE 3.0. The menus and features in 3.0 are almost
exactly the same as used in current iPAQs and I prefer them to the older
operating system so buy a 1550 is you can. The difference is not huge
though and the hardware is identical (same processor and screen).

Hi,
If forgot to mention that there is no such thing as a 1500, but that term is
used to describe the 1500 series of products. The model number of the unit
is printed on the back of the unit and also available in the system/setting
screens in the software.
