Due to always shifting opportunities and some uncertainties, the application deadline for 2019 SSA Flight Training Scholarships has been extended to March 31, 2019. This includes the Costello, Bultman, and Stoffel scholarships.

Funds commitment for the Purduski awards is not available for 2019 awards. This scholarship will return in the future.

The Costello award for two $2000 scholarships is fully funded.

Stoffel? The generous donation of a non-SSA member made possible five $2000 pre/post solo flight training scholarships.

The Bultman Scholarship awards of two $1000 scholarships is fully funded.

At least one additional $2000 SSA award is anticipated, so there will be at least eight $2000 scholarships available for 2019.

If your youth/junior members applied last year, ask them to update their applications and to submit again.

Upslack everybody.

Thanks to a generous donation, 4-5 additional $2,000 flight training scholarships have been funded by a sole donor. Those who'd like to match or add to the pool of scholarship funds that may be used to award such scholarships can donate to the SSA's JYC Scholarship Fund by clicking here and designating your donation to fund these scholarships by clicking "Junior Development" and then selecting "Scholarships" from the drop-down menu.
