I just got a new, fine monitor with tiny pixels which now makes the size
of the text quite small to read.
Does anyone know how to globally increase the font size of the displayed
articles? - it is not in Preferences.
Thanks

Mac or Windows? For Windows, right-click on the desktop, select
properties, select Settings tab, select Advanced button, select Large
Fonts in the Font Size list box.

AFAIK, NewsWatcher is Mac client.
Try
http://www.smfr.org/mtnw/docs/Preferences.html#Panel_Fonts
It allows scalable font faces.

It will change them there and in the menus, etc, but not in the text in
documents, so it it won't help, as you point out. And since it's a Mac,
I'm out of ideas anyway! There must be a font display size command
somewhere in the program, though.

If Windows, go to Control Panel>Appearance Themes>Change Screen Resolution
Small numbers give overall large print/icons and large numbers reduce
size of print/icons

I can't help with NewsWatcher, but you might try Thunderbird.

I've been using it for a while and it works well. I can adjust font
size from the View menu or keyboard.
