Hi,

I'm very happy with the new upgrades to the Cambridge 302A GPS Flight
Recorder. They have changed the sheet metal case to a textured black paint.
It looks great and will be less reflective for pilots mounting their 302A in
the cockpit rather than behind the panel. Cambridge also added a nice
mounting thumbscrew on the side of the unit.

Thank you Arthur and Gary and everyone else at Cambridge for all your hard
work this year! I've received many rave reviews about Gary's excellent and
timely service this year.

With the recent nosedive in the value of the dollar the US built Cambridge
products are an even better value for US pilots and pilots outside the US.
The 302A is a little larger than a Colibri or Volkslogger, but they offer
much more flight log and waypoint memory and the optional 303 display offers
a more intuitive user interface than competitive products. Also, the 302A
is the only flight recorder that can power a Pocket PC with 5V - which saves
you money on cables and power converters.

You can see many photos on my web site.

Is the extent of Cambridge's technical development effort this year only a
new case texture and a thumbscrew?
