He walked away from it!...new pilot...and when you loose your tail rotor at
hover, even the most experienced pilots can have trouble. I remember in primary
we were constantly drilled in engine failure while hovering.

....I actually damaged a TH-55's oleo struts while practicing it with my
instructor sitting next to me!!
