Hi
Can anyone recommend a good wax polish?
Back in the UK we had a good product called Mur but
I don't seem to be able to find it over here in the
US. Can anyone help?
Thanks

I'm pleased with the results of WxBlock/WxSeal, sold
by Tim Mara of www.wingsandwheels.com
Others will probably say the hard wax is the ONLY way
to go. I can't argue. But since I don't have the
type of powered polisher necessary to apply the hard
wax, I'll go with the stuff that can be applied by
hand. Also, since I have about eight thumbs per hand,
I'd probably rip chunks of the trailing edge off with
the power buffer.
The WxSeal/WxBlock can also be applied by a power buffer,
but as I stated above, I don't have one.
I'm just thankful the wings aren't a millimeter longer
than 15 metres when I'm polishing them!
Per the movie 'Karate Kid': Wax On; Wax Off!
Oh, my sore arms!
When you're through, make sure you're looking at the
bird through good sunglasses!

Second that. I bought a cheap buffer from Wally World and found the
added weight and hassle of the buffer was more work than cleaning and
waxing by hand. Beautiful results.
