I've made a movie again (I'm also the filmer of "Riding the ASK21").

Description:
A winch evening in July at Hoogeveen. Features a couple of
winchlaunches, landings, and a beautiful sunset. Filmed by Peter
Millenaar.

Before you translate it to English, you should get the Dutch on your
website right. I don't really speak Dutch, but I strongly believe that
the plural-s doesn't get an apostrophe. Further, the small m stands for
milli, if you mean mega, use the capital M. Likewise, b stands for bit,
while I think you mean B, bite. Gna, gna, gna..... 8-)

Yes, it does in Dutch when coming behind a vowel: foto's, video's,
auto's, collega's...

Moral of the story: what's right in one language doesn't necessarily
apply to another.

Neither do I, so I will just tell you that I liked the videos.

I am commited to start glider training in March and primary instruction
will propably be mostly on ASK-21 so I was very interested in your
"Riding" video.

I noticed one thing: The ASK-21 in your video has "braces" (Dunno what they
are properly called) inside the canopy that those of my future club don't
seem to have:

I believe that's a Dutch regulation designed to protect
the pilot from unseen power/phone wires on final or
wire fences after touchdown.

It used to be mandatory, but that regulation has been dropped a couple of
years ago. Main protection is against (barbed) wire fences, not against
power or phone lines (these are allmost all underground here).

If you start correcting other people, please get your facts strait first. On
the apostrophe: the useage is correct. The rules are a bit complicated to
explain (and this isn't alt.language.*), but sometimes an apostrophe is
called for for plurals in Dutch. On the bits and bytes (yes, with a y and
not an i): there is no official definition on that. Because milli doesn't
make sence in the context of bits and bytes, there is no confusion on using
a small m here.
