View Full Version : Portable PowerFLARM real-time clock?
I have a Portable PowerFLARM, and it creates IGC flight log files with the right dates (from the GPS data), but files that it writes to the SD card are all dated 1/1/2010. Has an internal battery for the real-time date died, or does it not have one?

The PowerFLARM doesn't have a battery. It gets the date from the GPS unit. As long as the flight log filename date and the date in the flight log are correct, you're all set.

Start-up diagnostic logs are written before the GPS has acquired
time/date, with fixed ancient date, nothing to worry about...
