Before you go in to take an FAA test, you should always have taken enough
practice tests so that you know within +- 5% what your score is going to be. I
am a CFI who happened to take a Private test just two weeks ago. I did not get
100%, and I really would have been surprised to do so, because few tests are
100% accurate. Errors happen, your errors and their errors. You can also
mis-click with the mouse and not select the answer you thought you selected.
Further, they tend to stick one or two undocumented questions into the pot that
they are validating for future use.
