View Full Version : Tampico TB-9 Information required
February 25th 05, 12:07 PM
I hope to fly a Tampico TB-9 whilst on holiday and would like to know
more about the aircraft.
I have found some performance data but some is missing.
It would also be useful to find a checklist and panel layout if
possible.
Help appreciated,
Thanks,
David

Couldn't find it on their page. All I got was: UH-3H Sea King - tailrotor
failure during landing - no casualties.

I think he's typing about the one where they landed on top of the car
and the plane landed sideways down the runway. Apparently you'd need the
original video link to still be able to pull it, if Iwan even archives
this stuff...

Subject: VIDEO: Land your aircraft on top of a car and bounce right off....

If you want to impress people by flying your aircraft as low as possible
over a fast driving car, you better know what you are doing. The Belgian
guy in this video must have misjudged the situation and hit the car
before he bounced to the ground. Final result: A dented roof and a
bruised ego.....
Visit www.dappa.nl/crash.htm to see the video if you are in for a laugh.

After a search I still have the video (1.8megs) if Jay wants to add it
to his collection on the hotel website...
