An electric airplane ends up in water...would that be a “shocking” experience?

Just add floats and expand the landing possibilities:

Maybe the pilot was "charged up" before the flight :)

At least the report was current.

If he crashed in a river instead of a lake, the currents could have been
really bad.

Glad to see everyone getting such a charge out of this mishap :)

It's actually sad to see electric airplanes not hitting their full
potential.

Ohm gunna withhold judgement until we get all the facts. I will resist speculation.

I'm left wondering watt went wrong. I'm positive that there won't be too much negative down side to this and that the potential of electric flight won't be met with too much resistance. Ohm also pleased that no one was reported hertz

How can you guys disparage such a Joule of an airplane?

Would a salt water landing have had more potential for grounding the aircraft properly?

In a lake, is that then a non-Ground Faulty Circuit Interrupted?

It came to rest almost inverted.
The occupant's reactive power allowed prompt discharge to dry ground, where they sought dry insulation.

Truly, I am thankful no one was Hertz.
