I happen to be looking at some OLC scoring and noticed that there were rear seat ride along customers scoring flights on OLC as if they were the PIC. Is there any provision for making sure that the ride along is not permitted to score the flight as if they were the primary scoring individual.

I don't have a problem with it. It ain't a record or a race. Scoring a ride along or two with a ringer isn't going to appreciably move someone's OLC standing. Do you know if they were grubbing for points or just happy to share a nice flight. Maybe they use OLC as their logbook.

You could probably use that in the singles bar to pick up chicks. Might
even score a few free drinks! :-D

There are plenty of shills scoring for clubs they have no membership in and clubs that exist only as Facebook groups or Twitter accounts.

I recall an original goal of OLC was to process FAI badge legs, however, the security and methodology still appears beyond reach of that happening.

How can we know they were only a ride or in the back seat?

Dan make a great point, hot chicks love OLC scores! This reminds me of the progressive approach to the , everyone gets a trophy scenario. I can only hope that the MAGA format can be used in the OLC scoring.
