Boycott the NY Times newspaper NOW! They totally screwed general aviation
with false information and now all the NY Media is reporting junk about GA
insecurity. Read AOPA.org on-line about it and see how unfounded the
allegations. As a NY pilot, and with flying here as hard as it already
is, I am rallying to boycott the NY Times newspaper now! They don't
deserve my business nor the business of any pilot who cares about the
future of flying in this country. The report is neither object, true, nor
informative. The information is more than 3 years old, does not
incorporate changes since before 2001, and has political reigns written
all over it. I would expect this of tabloids.

Thanks for reading.
Onward and Upward.

The newspaper business .. like tv news .. is about selling their
product. They do that with sensationalist stories .. not with
the boring truth.

Well, what's the hoopla all about? With few exceptions, NY Times has
always been a prostitute and vehicle of cheap propaganda... most of
their folks barely know their arse from elbow, or worse yet, knowingly
distort and misinterpret the information to please "the boss".
Remember war in Yugoslavia coverage? Or, more recently, remember NY
Times magazine ad with GA planes and some nuke facility in the
background... my good man, I have always been boycotting this paper
because it is, and has always been, full of $hit...

I even had the privilege of working there, right on the Times square,
and walked out in two weeks because they were so full of it... they
were cheap enough to not even pay me for my time, but that's a
different story... Anyway, I don't see how any intelligent person can
take this newspaper seriously...

However, if they would print their news on the rolls of toilet paper,
it would be the best paper in town...

It'd be alittle difficult for me to boycott what I do not read anyway! HAHA
Have not looked at that socialist rag-mag in years and years.

If I were a betting man I would bet that most of the folks that frequent
this NG don't like the Old York Times anyway...
