Im looking for some info in getting a CPL converted in Namibia and any
general info on the GA scene there.

Ive heard there are some Aussie pilots there, running the show doing
scenics and charter.

If anyone has any local know how or info, Id love to hear it

Tom,

Flying in Namibia is fabulous! I converted a PPL in 2001 to view the solar
eclipse from Zambia. Went across the Kalahari to Botswana, up the Zambezi,
over Vic Falls, etc., etc.

I suggest you contact Wings Over Africa. Sorry, I can't recall the
gentleman's name, They were great helping me prepare for the test (written
and oral), and flight planning, etc. They got a C182 for me to self fly for
2 weeks.

Their web site has changed, but this will give you contact info:

Good luck.
