Google maps http://maps.google.com are very cool and include satelite
images. However, as far as I can tell lat / lon coordinate support is
undocumented.
You can enter latitude and longitude in the main search text box in
comma separated decimal format. West Longitude is negative. For example
my home airport is:
42.426,-71.794
Conversely, you can get latitude and longitude of the current location
by using the Right Mouse Button "Copy Shortcut" menu on the "Link to
this page" hyperlink. The coordinates are embeded in the URL. For
example:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=42.426,-71.794&spn=0.004839,0.007199&t=k&hl=en
