Saturday July 11th is the annointed day for the 2020 Kansas Kowbell Klassic.. All Kompetitors will launch from Sunflower Gliderport and whichever pilot lands the furthest from Sunflower will win the Kowbell. Follow along on the SSA Tracking page. Most of us will show up on there except for a few 'Dark Horses'.

Nice job Tony. While you were running SW, I was running N-S doing a spray job in your home town lol. Last month I got a good straight liner in out of moriarty in my 1-26. Made it to just SW of Ulysses KS. Missed my diamond distance by about 11miles though. Gotta love those early evening t-storm shelves, sure help to extend a flight. I ran out of legal flight time before I ran out of lift.

Shoot. If we had been keeping up, we would have sent Ed Neidert out to give you a hand! He has serial 061 and lives just NW of Ulysses.

Amazing.

Hi Steve, yes I was told there was a 1-26 guy in Ulysses. I’d like to link up with him next year as I was told he is a duster like me and has towing capabilities. Ulysses looks like a good location to make some runs from.
