View Full Version : First of the phony polls to be exposed: Florida
2G
November 4th 20, 04:21 AM
Pres. Trump has won Florida by 3.5 points.
The polls that got it RIGHT:
Trafalgar - Trump by 2
Fox - Trump by 1
The polls that got it WRONG:
CNBC - Biden by THREE! (wrong by 6.5!!)
Reuters - Biden by FOUR! (wrong by 7.5!!)
Quinnipiac - Biden by FIVE! (wrong by 8.5!!)
Takeaway: the polls that got it RIGHT are within their margin of error; the polls that got it WRONG missed it by TWICE OR MORE than their margin of error.

Tom,
I don't come to R.A.S. for politics. Please stop.

Like it or not, who is elected President directly affects our aviation activities.

If R.A.S. were U.S. only, perhaps. But it is worldwide.

So is this the widespread electoral fraud that Trump is whingeing to the world about?
If he thought there were problems in the electoral system there, or fraud and disappearing mail in the US Postal Service. he's had 4 years of doing nothing about it.

100 million people voted early, and the result will be late

No, it is much more about mind control by the Left. All political polls in recent memory have a strong bias to the Democrats, and I listed just ONE example. When you see a poll that your candidate is losing by 17 points (which happened this election) you are less likely to take the time to go vote.
A free and fair election SHOULD be the goal of EVERYBODY regardless of political affiliation.

Reports in the less paranoid rest of the world say Biden has more votes than any President in history, that Trump has more votes than he had last time, and that several states have margins of 3% or less.
That doesn't sound like a country psyched into not voting.

This nonsense about polls and voter participation are totally irrelevant in a glider and soaring related forum. This thread shouldn't have been started on RAS.

There's dedicated other forums on the internet to discuss politics. I come

stick to gliding here, please?

Before I block this thread may I remind US readers that RAS is an international open group and not the place for people to vent their US specific politics, prejudices - or, for that matter in previous threads, their gun and ammunition preferences etc.

In a gliding contest you fill your glider with water ballast. When it is weighed on the way to the grid it is slightly over the reference weight, and you are asked to dump a small amount.
Now it is ok. In a moment of idle curiosity you wonder how much you have actually dumped.

RAS has moderators? (I really thought it was a free-for-all.)
If so, can we respectfully ask that they become more involved in ensuring a civil, relevant tone?
