If Santa got rid of his reindeer, what would he fly?
I think he's kinda old school but still needs performance.
The ASW 20 or a LS3 might be good for the old man.
Roomy cockpits.
What do you think and why?

He'd fly a 1-26....

Because he would paint it Red and land it on any rooftop.

And he wouldn't care about performance because with his magical abilities he'd always find the next updraft.

Merry Christmas,

If anything, he'd be flying a 2-33, as it would fit his fat ass and have room in the back for the big bag o' presents. And if he can get a sleigh with reindeer to fly, he might even have some luck with a 2-33.

I still stick with the 2-33, because, like Santa, they're old and fat hardly anyone believes in them anymore.

Googled "How much does Santa weigh".

Multiple sites put him at 5' 7" and 260 pounds with some sites giving a range of 350 pounds or more. I think gross weight could be an issue to consider here...along with potentially needing to get on some cholesterol meds asap. BMI of 40.72...He's only a few cookies away from a massive heart attack.

"Based on years of flight profile data that they’ve gathered from radar and satellite tracking, NORAD has estimated that Santa Claus is 5 feet 7 inches (170 centimeters) tall and weighs approximately 260 pounds (118 kilograms) before eating and drinking all those milk and cookies at the houses he visits. Santa would have a BMI of 40.72 at that height and weight. He’s shorter than I thought he would be if that’s his true height."

And he can put it up on the skid to get it stopped on rooftops. Hard on the shingles & tiles tho.

You are all wrong! Given his own weight and the required payload capacity for all the big-boy toys in the world, he definitely opted for a Me-321 cargo glider.
Need proof? Look at the multiple tow planes! They are easily mistaken by an uninitiated observer on the ground for a bunch of reindeer!

If short roofs are a problem perhaps Santa borrows Snake Plissken's Lark. https://youtu.be/X9frBKmg30Q?t=139
And that is why roofs leak in January.

Well Santa had a problem with the animal rights groups after his checkride:

So he had to change airframes.
