Hi,

Does anyone know of a good radio repairer in the UK.

We have a COMM ATR 720 radio and it has a couple of problems

a) It has a combined microphone/loudspeaker. When the PTT is pressed a
howling (feeback like) sound is made and nothing is transmitted.
However, the receiver seems to work ok.

b) The frequency change switches are unreliable

As I recall, the ATR720 uses an integral switch mechanism in the head
that requires specialised spares and Avionic Dittel went off the air
about five years ago.

Bearing that in mind, you might like to consider if it is work spending
