The control of wave windows is apparently moving from ARTCC to the local FISDO. How many of you have letters of agreements for WAVE Windows in the USA.

Albuquerque Soaring Club does. Negotiated last year - with local FSDO

Weird that FSDO would get this, they already have staffing and budget issues. I know ASI and Boulder had ARTCC letters...

Actually FISDO just wants to be part of the process since there are portions of FAR's being waved in the agreement. ATC, in the case of the Moriarty wave window is still the approving authority for flights into class A airspace in that they will open the wave window when traffic permits.
The Albuquerque Soaring Club broke ground on these new agreements and I'll be glad to forward a copy of our agreement with both ATC and FISDO to any one who wants a copy so they can use most of it as boiler plate for their own local letter,
