The weather over the past 8-10 days has been phenomenal, and many pilots are posting some tremendous flights. Just a few mentions:
- Paul Remde and copilot flew a 412-mile downwind dash landing in Missouri
- Barry Jaeger and Dick Andrews yesterday flew the first-ever 750K triangle flown in MN, and I believe recently another 500K O&R.
- Dr Dan Johnson in Menomonie WI flew many long triangles
- Lou Chouinard flew several flights in excess of 300K at some pretty solid speeds
- Darryl Dodson has flown an AC-5M on several very long O&R and triangle flights out of Cumberland WI
- Steve Kennedy has flown long flights from Osceola WI
- Herb Killian out of Chicago and several other chicago-area pilots have been flying 300+K tasks and maybe even a 500K or two.

This will likely be one of those time periods people will refer back to many years from now. Happy Soaring!
