Curtis Pitts died Friday morning, June 10th. He was 89.

Naturally, these humorous remarks are all entirely my own opinion, based
solely
on rumor, supposition, innuendo and damned lies, and should be
interpreted in a
spirit of fun. My memory is faulty, also.

A truly great name in general aviation. I came close a time or two, but
never had a chance to actually meet him. I wish I had.

A real shame. There was an excellent article on him in the current Sport
Aviation (IIRC).

Have a good flight, Curtis.
