"Sometime about a year ago, there was an article in SOARING on the subject
of
camera mounts to facilitate in flight photography. Included were
illustrations of 'universal' mounts for wings and a nose cone.

I have lost the issue and the article. A young team of students from the
Niagara College Film School are making a pair of videos for Freedom's Wings
Canada, and it would be helpful to them to read this material.

If someone has the issue, and could scan the article, we would be very
grateful....

There were no responses. There is no search engine for the magazine on the
SSA website (interesting to contrast with the journal of the Soaring
Association of Canada, where the past issues are available as PDF files and
searchable, both at http://www.sac.ca/fflight.htm).

Please, can someone tell me in which issue of SOARING the article
appeared; - I can then ask locally for someone with the issue. Your help
would be greatly appreciated,

Charles Petersen

Charles,

It MAY be the January 2003 article in SOARING, written
by Chris Woods.

On the SSA web site, the following is written about
that article:

Soaring on Film
Chris Woods gives you pertinent information on how
to take great soaring photographs.

I'll see if I can find my copy of that magazine when
I get home tonight.

You can search for articles at

http://acro.harvard.edu/SOARING/JL/Soaring_Index

but there aren't any issues online. Liebacher and crew are working on
this possibility, but it hasn't happened yet.

Charles,

I didn't find my issue of the SOARING magazine I thought
the article was in. Looks like I might have thrown
out the 2003 issues.

It was December 2003, titled "Soaring on Film Part II" and I have the issue.
Part I was in January 2003, but I do not have that one. Send me your (or the
students') address at and I'll cut out the pages and send
them.
