You may have seen in the news that Bank of America has announced its
intention to purchase the credit card business of MBNA. Why bring this
up in a flying forum? Because MBNA provides a lot of the financial
services to AOPA members.

I've been trying to avoid doing business with B of A for almost 30 years
and they keep following me. It started right after I graduated from
college and they started charging me a monthly fee for my savings
account. More recently, here in Massachusetts they bought out one of
the big regional banks and fired a lot of people despite promises to
keep the employment level. Supposedly more jobs were supposed to be
brought in from other parts of the country. Ain't happened.

I urge all AOPA members to contact AOPA and tell them it's time to start
looking for a new financial services partner. Use the link below:

Bank of America and MBNA bedding down together is like a marriage of
Satan and Cthulhu.

May their days be dark and damned.
