On the Kitplanes website there's a "pay-per-view" feature that
allows you to download individual articles from past issues - at
$7.50 a whack - but I figure "Okay - no waiting - cool"...

In my case I needed the September and November '04 Jim
Weir column so I can build his slick VOR tester. So I punch in
the credit card info, download the .PDF files, everything seems
fine. But there's a problem - the schematics are illegible. It appears
that when the files were converted to PDF format the resolution
they used was too low (a guess on my part). I sent an email to
their customer service and am waiting to see what can be done.

In the meantime............. Any chance that the schematics will
appear on the RST website, or should I start scrounging around
to find a hardcopy or back issues?

People that use a valid email reply address or a real name sometimes are
surprised at what can be done. Those that use dummy email addys in their
post ... well ...
