Local news here (NY/NJ) reported (with all the accuracy that they are known
for) that there had been a midair between two of the planes and that a
missle rail had been knocked off one of them. The remaining performances
were cancelled. This was on last night's news.

Hopefully this is just the T-Birds way of getting out of performing for
that ******* Daley?

I still can't believe that any self-respecting airshow pilots perform
in Chicago, after what King Daley did to Meigs.

Air shows are intended to get people interested in signing up for the
military.

No. The reason that the T-birds, Blue Angels, etc. perform is to get people
interested in signing up for the military and to try to increase military
funding, not to mention being a form of propoganda. It is not the reason
for most airshows. What about Oshkosh? Do you think that it only exists to
get people to join the military?

Would someone be so kind as to cut and paste her.
I don't register to such sites.

I have performed at that airshow.. long before Miegs was closed.. we had to
keep the bird up north on the Navy base and they used Miegs to helo us back
and forth. Could not fit the bird into Miegs.

It was just a Tribune article explaining that the Tbird show was
shortened on Saturday and canceled on Sunday because a fiberglass
missile rail was knocked loose and fell into Lake Michigan during the
Saturday show. The assumption was that 2 planes had slightly touched
but the air force is investigating. I think this was also covered on
either aeronews or Avweb if you want another source for the story.

It didn't make me register.

Give a person a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a person to
use the Internet and he won't bother you for weeks.

Do you have cookies ON?
I only turn cookies on for sites I know.

Get your self a disposable e-mail address.

The story is also on AvWeb and some of the other aviation sites.

Cut and paste would be a copyright violation.

Which is why they do half their shows overseas I suppose.

Good way to get black listed.
Some ISPs are refusing to handle mail though them and I do know of
several download sites that will not allow accounts with bugmenot
e-mail addresses.

Huh?

Huh?

bugmenot.com isn't an email service. It's simply a web site where you can
enter a domain name, and be given a valid login ID and password. The web
site asking for the login information never knows you ever visited
bugmenot.com.

I have no idea what you mean by "bugmenot e-mail addresses". I've never
heard of a "bugmenot e-mail address", and that's certainly not their primary
currency, nor is it what the post to which you replied is suggesting.
