I use 877 ANY AWOS. I didn't know about 800 ANY ATIS. Was that a
typo, or are we talking about two different services?

Try: http://mobile.wunderground.com/

Key in any airport code with awos/atis, a zip code, or a city name.
It'll give you the METAR, a lil radar image, sunrise sunset etc.

It works great on my phone.

Oh well, that's too bad, since ATIS is better info than just an AWOS.
