Is there a Web site where one can enter a street address and get back the
GPS coordinates of that location? Free would be good.

Thanks.

Walter

No such thing. You are looking for latitude and longitude.

WGS84 is not a coordinate system.

I use a combination of google earth and google maps to get me pretty close,
but I don't know of a software program that has that good of a database
yet.

is very useful. Not as convenient as a couple mentioned below but you
can toggle quickly between aviation sectionals, topo, and marine
charts. This is very useful if you are looking for something on the
ground. There is a display of lat long which follows your cursor and
can be set to the units you prefer. You can zoom in to the maximum
resolution of the maps which is good for precise locations.

Microsoft Streets & Trips for $$ - the original query was for a free web
page - locates addresses and has a Location Sensor that displays
latitude and longitude
