I'm considering putting together a "copilot training program" for my
flight school. This course is targeted towards regular passengers who
are not interested in becoming private pilots themselves--the spouse or
friend who goes flying with you all the time. The program would focus
on making that individual able to contribute to the flight with radio
comm, basic nav, and knowledge to assist in an emergency. Plus
practice in flying and landing the aircraft in case the pilot is
incapacitated.

Do you know of any similar programs? I'm sure I read about something
like this but I can't recall where. Thoughts on what should/shouldn't
be included?
