Hi,

I'm currently doing my PPL training after work and in evenings and it's
taking me forever. I keep getting lessons cancelled due to bad weather
and numerous problems with ATC staff.

My main goal is just to be up in the air flying. I think eventually I'd
like to become an instructor.

Can any of you give me advice regarding courses abroad? I'm thinking
that it would maybe be easier to take a lump of time off work and go
learn all in one go. It'd certainly be a lot of fun :)

Not that it's of any use to me yet, but can any of you give me an
overview of what further training and experience would be necessary to
become an instructor?

Thanks,
Dave.

Dave,
This is not the place to get the advice you need. Go here
http://forums.flyer.co.uk/ where there are plenty of pilots who have
experienced training abroad and have a better idea of the visa and other
hoops you need to jump through.

Thanks. That forum looks interesting. I'll have a read through it
first.

Dave.
