Let's get off this! With a sport in declining numbers, this forum topic
has turned into a steaming pile and is a despicable representation of
our sport and it's pilots. It appears that Naresh is the pivot man in a
circle jerk. Move on!

I have owned an SZD-56-1 Diana since 1998. Both through email and in
person, my dealings with Bogumil Beres (designer and manufacturer) and
with Jerry Zieba (U.S. dealer), I have been completely satisfied in all
respects.
When I was contemplating purchasing the first Diana, I asked a
world-famous glider pilot / evaluator for his advice. Of his many
helpful comments, the one which stood out for me was "The Poles are
honest". A nationally-recognized sailplane repair shop told me that
Jerry Zieba is the best dealer he has ever worked with.
I've not kept up with r.a.s. for several months, and now I remember
why.

Please explain the function of a "pivot man". Not all of us are so
intimately familiar with the mechanics of circle jerks.

Ignore him. Some of us (most maybe?) really just don't want to know.

Had you been at your parents' cocktail cabinet by any chance? I do hope
you had not tried glue-sniffing again...
