I just noticed the October board meeting report is available on the SSA
site (log in as a member, then Governance/Board Reports). I'm pleased to
see the report available sooner than it was often the case in the past.
The main thing I got from reading it is numerous details required to run
a society like ours, and the considerable amount of work most of the
volunteer Directors go to make it happen. I suggest each member take a
look at the report and see how hard their Directors are working for
them. Most of you will be impressed, and if you aren't, start looking
for someone that will impress you like the other Directors do.
