Greetings group,
I desire to cut a small window (camera port etc) into a larger
Lexan side window/door in my Skyranger
Any and all advice re
framing the hole,
hinges to use,
latches,
over lap to seal wind,
and suitable size would be welcome.
I am thinking about a 200 * 150mm ( 8" * 6") inch window
many thanks

David,
When you are buying materials, make sure you get the right stuff. Most
aircraft glazing is acrylic and not Lexan. Even though Lexan is
superior in strength, it is not as clear, more flexible, and virtually
un-polishable. The glues etc. are different for each.
