Does anyone know if the 2006 OLC (US, if that matters) will accept igc
files produced by WinPilot?

In reading the OLC site the answer seems to be no. I didn't find
anywhere on the OLC site to submit a question so I thought I'd try RAS.
WinPilots says they meet the "technical requirements". They also
provide validation software (valiwp.exe). I did not get a direct answer
as to whether or not the files would be accepted.

Has anyone submitted a WinPilot igc file for 2006 and was it accepted ?

Thanks,
Doug

(I swear there's a conspiracy in soaring to sell secure data loggers.
First badges and now the OLC too! I guess I'll just have to bite the
bullet.)

Yes, I submitted a GPS_LOG iqc file yesterday and it was accepted. A field
labeled "Flight State" says "Logger is not IGC-approved!" but the flight is
shown in the daily score.

Greetings, Erik.

I found the help web address and got a quick and curteous response.

"I am sorry but Winpilot manufacturers are not willing to deal with
OLC, so Win Pilot files are not valid for OLC "
