I haven't been able to get the weather to download for me either. To test
your connection to the weather sites, point your browser to
http://fs2k.zone.com/. If the connection is working, you'll get a short
text message saying your connection is working.

I've been able to connect to the website a couple times, but it's slow and
not always complete and haven't gotten more than 15% download of current
weather in FS2004.
