View Full Version : Oshkosh Lodging

I'm looking for lodging recommendations for Oshkosh between Wednesday
the 26th and Sunday the 30th this year. This will be my 6th Oshkosh,
but the first one where I have the opportunity to fly in and stay near
the show (in the past I have always flown into and commuted from
Madison, due to relatives in the area).

I'll be calling the Oshkosh housing hotline on Monday but I figured I'd
get the collective wisdom of the group first. I know I'm late in
arranging a place to stay, but I didn't know I'd be a warbird owner
until recently (much better odds at mid-week parking now).

I know that the air-conditioned dorms are all booked but I believe the
other ones are still available. I'm not sure what the other options are
that have transportation available to and from the show. Also, camping
is probably out of the question for this year.

Any advice on the options that might still be available would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

(my apologies if this gets posted multiple times, the software seems to
be having issues tonight)

Camp with your plane. It's the best way to see the show.

& ship your camping gear that you may not be able and/or want to carry in
the plane to the onsite UPS tent. Works great!
