But it only works on 10.4, not 10.3.

That's correct. That said, it's very demanding on the hardware -- if
you're using a computer that can't run 10.4, Google Earth isn't going
to run on it anyway. (My 800MHz G4 sorta fits in that category. It
runs, but it's kinda slow on the animation.)
