The SSA won't record the convention this year so lets do it ourselves.

Anyone with a cellphone can record a podcast. Here's how:

If you are going to Frey's Saturday talk "Winch Operations In Europe
and Possible Applications In The US" let me know and I'll lend you my
MP3 recorder!

If you have a tape recorder then mail your tapes to me and I'll post
them:

Sign up to record a talk here (click on the links to right of talk):

Cheers,
Richard

Richard,

You should have mentioned the minor issue of copyrights the presenter
has regarding his/her voice recordings. You don't want to end up like
the litigants of a certain German photographer, especially if the
recordings end up posted in the public domain for downloading.

Herb,

It had not occurred to me that people would forget to ask the speaker's
permission. I have added a note to the instructions on the site
(https://www.freytag.us/Flight/bin/view/Soarcast/SsaConvention2006).

This is dead simple to do. You can USE ANY CELLPHONE (instructions
here: http://tinyurl.com/cgf2e), use a tape recorder and mail me a
tape, or of course use an MP3 recorder and email the result to
.

Thanks,
Richard
