Hello,
i have a few questions about licenses in the US
Where can i find an overview of the FAA licenses and currencies (VFR & IFR)?
Do you have to extend your licenses, or do you only have to stay current?
Greetings

All FAA regulations are online:
http://www.faa.gov
Specifically:
<http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/text-idx?&c=ecfr&tpl=/ecfrbrowse/Title14/14tab_02.tpl>

In short, FAA pilot certificates do not have an expiration date (so there's
no need to "extend" the certificate). However, they are only valid in
conjunction with a current medical certificate which do have expiration
dates.
Beyond that, you only have maintain currency per 14 CFR 61.57:
<http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/text-idx?c=ecfr&sid=796ec80ae8822bc5ef865a93e21687b9&rgn=div8&view=text&node=14:2.0.1.1.2.1.1.35&idno=14>

Don't forget the need for the Biennial Flight Review. Gotta have that, too.
