Wow -- what a great video!

There are some teams there I've not seen before. Thanks!

Could it be......

Google has got the best video player file compression on the market?

It seems ( to me ) that that video has the best quality playback, for the
smallest file size, that I have seen, to date.

Interesting.

FWIW, it's a Macromedia Flash playback. I'd be interested in hearing the
specs on their conversion.

Does anyone know how to strip the "raw" video out of a macromedia flash
page?

Google has an "include this video on your website" button that
supposedly provides the HTML to make it work in my page -- but it
doesn't work.

I'd love to add that one to our video webpage!

The video quality is exceptionally good.

And I want to thank Jay for keeping a site like his.

Oh, He*l, Now I've gone and done it! If I got some insidious version of
flash all over my system, I'll be ****ed. I try very hard to keep flash
away. It is almost as bad as RealPlayer!

Let's hope google kept the best, and threw out the rest!

I just listened to a podcast that described how to minimize video file
size. Things like deinterlacing and striping out the odd lines for
640x480 image size. There were some other tricks and freeware to use.

You can download and listen to them or read the show notes.

I think it was either one of the TWIT programs or KFI640 Tech Guy
programs.
