It's about the only way he can get his car to fly!

This one's kind of cute.

Actually there's another way but I don't think he could get one on an
aircraft carrier. One of those catapults would get one flying, for
awhile anyway. ;o)

If you look very very close you can see a wire on one side from the
front and rear. IMO its not even a car, but a banner flapping in the
wind.

I doubt it. That RAF base's singe runway has an X in the middle and cars
parked in the overrun area.

Somebody way better at math than I may be able to figure this out.
The wingspan of the Lancaster is 102 Ft.
The Google measurement tool shows 149 feet in the picture.

I thought Google's images were from satellites...

That's what they want you to think. They actually use surplus
invisible black helicopters.

How do you impute coordinates directly to google? I got there, according to
the pointer, but it was the middle of the field, with nothing there.

Might be an airshow, with the Lanc coming around for a low pass. Would explain
all the cars parked around the field, but there isn't anybody AROUND the
cars...nor are there any airplanes visible on the field itself.
Google Earth IDs the field as "RAF Brampton Wyton Henlow". Sounds like a
non-flying base, except for motor gliders:
