Hi,
I am in need of installation and 3 view drawings of the Lycoming O-235.
Are there any links online where I can find these? Any other way of
getting the drawings? Can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
Fulcrum

Lycoming typically sells a 1/4 page sized user's manual with their
engines. The one I got had sort of a pink cover & of all things came in
a mini 3 ring binder. In this small manual, they provide the 3 views yo
u are requesting. I'd try and call the factory and order one if I were
you. Those small drawings, as annoying as they are, are useful.

Have you tried Lycoming's web site?

Thanks for the replies.
Evan, I haven't got an engine of theirs with me, but I would like to
create a simple cowl drawing.
Richard, I have tried the website but I didnt find any 3-view drawings
as such. I did find a few good in-work pictures of the O-235 when it
was being assembled into a kit airplane.

Well, 3views don't seem to exist from Lycoming, at least not in the
documentation they send with the new engines. Sure would have been nice tho.

I went back to the Lycoming web site and couldn't find then either!
Checking my own archives, all I have is the O-360 series side views
and a few of the Continentals.
Sorry about that...
Richard
Say, what the heck are you doing putting a Lyc in a MiG-29???

LOL Richard, its one of the enthusiast hangover days. Fulcrum has been
an internet name for me for some time now.
Would it be possible for you to send me the O-360 series side views
which you have? If they're electronic copies, great. Otherwise do let
me know where I could get them.
Thanks

Done deal.
These are in .PCX format to preserve line quality.
They are small files though.
The Lycoming pics were scabbed from the Lycoming web site documents
a couple of years ago - back when I was working on my Tailwind.
Enjoy.

Richard,
Thanks that was quite useful, you've shown the systems to some extent
too. Wittman Tailwind did you say? :-)
Some stuff you may like to read on this link:

I'm still waiting for the sport legal Tailwind to come along.
Along with the reduced weight, I picture it dragging a big parachute, to
keep the speed under the limit. :-)

I'm going to have to be careful about drinking anything while reading
your replies...
