View Full Version : Thermal History Software?

A year or two ago someone said they had seen some software that would
pick thermal locations from IGC files and would start to map out thermal
"hot spots". The more IGC files the better the data got.

Anyone know if this is real and if so where to get the software?

Thanks,

Gary

I believe WinPilot has this feature, but perhaps you meant this:

This works well with Winpilot, and I have used it many times when
returning after a long flight out from Minden.

I was surprised as to how long an identified spot lasts, even after a
long day of soaring.
