Hey, the Oshkosh NOTAM is out, so I'm starting to dream about it.

Does anybody know if portable generators are allowed in General Aviation
Camping? We're thinking of running an hour or two during the day (NOT AT
NIGHT) to recharge the digital cameras, laptops, etc.

Is it going to be full if I arrive Saturday morning around 10:00? The
only time I went before was in 2003, and I arrived on Wednesday with the
ATIS was saying GAC was full, so I got ready to hold up my GAP sign (we
actually didn't plan to camp, just wanted a campsite so we could set up a
tent as crash space that time - this time we plan to camp) but the "follow
me" motor scooter held up both signs, so I held up GAC and get a nice spot
in the middle of the Mooney caravan flight, half of whom had left already.
Any Saturday arrivers here who can speak up?

Of course, I also got weird looks when I said that, as a kid, I watched the
toast brown in a toaster to see whether it browned at a linear or exponential
rate. -- Jeff Davis

Never a problem for us. Matter of fact, you can buy a real nice,
small, light, super quiet, avgas eating Honda right on the grounds.
