21. Be there or be square!"

Thanks John,
Some day, if I don't get too old, I just may surprise everyone and
make it there.

Tina Marie told me I *had* to go, so I'm going. And it's a lot longer
trip for me than for you. I'm just going to be in a boring old Lance,
you've got "World's Oldest Debonair".

Sometimes, when a luser makes an unreasonable demand, the best thing
to do is let them have exactly what they ask for.

I keep trying to be there, but fate intervenes again. It's the same weekend
as the NRA convention right here at home.

It's the same week end as the big Ham swap/convention in Dayton.
(Supposed to be the world's largest). I've been a ham since May 61
and I've never been there either. OTOH it's only slightly off course
for P-ville and O'Hara arena is only about 2 blocks from the airport.

Shhhhhh! Be careful what you say. I'm firmly convinced airplanes are
sentinent. They are more than willing to add some excitement about the
time the pilot thinks they are boring and some are very good at
knowing just the right moment to do it. I've even had the Deb stall
in slow cruise (Va) at 5500 feet.

No, that happend at bout 50 feet on take off. That was a whole lot
busier than stalling at 5500 in clear air turbulence. <:-))
Engine stalling....<Sheesh><:-))

P-vill might take more gas but I'm afraid I might buy something if I
go to Dayton.

I hear they lose more cars and trucks in the swampy swap area at
Dayton than the number of airplanes we lose in the North 40 during the
rainy season.

You'd better make it soon. There's not much time left :-)
