Trying to put together MSFS 2004/ XP Pro / Sidewinder Forcefeedback Pro but
cannot get beyond "frozen cockpit". Joystick appears to pass all
calibration checks. Previously, no problems with MSFS 98/ Windows 98/
Sidewinder F/F Pro.
Sorry if old,old query - new to this group.
Many thanks any simple inexpensive quick fix, if it exists.

Guy -- thanks for your response. Can you tell me, if my MS Sidewinder
ForceFeedback Pro Joystick, about five years old,is compatible with MSFS
2004 or has Bill Gates decided I need to buy a Sidewinder Mk 2???
Many thanks and Happy Landings,
Wally.

Personally I'd say ditch the Sidewinder and go for a Saitek X52. But
that's my opinion.

Cheers, Adrian
