View Full Version : CF-101 Voodoo Engines

May 25th 06, 03:56 AM
Anyone here know of somebody that might be interested in buying a
couple of voodoo engines?I know this is an unusual question for this
group, but I've been following posts here for a while and I think this
group is probably the most diverse group of aviation buffs to be found.
A local group has two that came out of a servicable ac with time left
and logbooks. They have been in storage for a while.I don't know much
more right now but they are open to offers.

I don't think one could be bolted on a typical homebuilt without
putting a little lead in the tail...........and maybe enlarging the
fuel tanks a tad.........

1) Nevada Air Guard, Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Reno, Nevada.
Operated RF-101C. Have one on pylon display as gate guard. May want
to obtain an engine or two for display.

2) Planes of Fame Air Museum. Currently in expansion with new
facilities. May also wish to obtain an engine for display. They
operate a jet museum, though they don't have an F-101.
