Just being provocative.

Although I was stuck in the back seat of the club trainers, the day was good
enough for serious cross country today.

Best thermal fo the day reached 6.5 on the 30 second averager (V1000M) - in a
Bergfalke III flown by a student! Not bad for the middle of winter.

Flying from Parys airfield (FAPY) http://www.whisperingwings.org.za
4740MSL
Temperature peaked at 18 degrees centigrade.
Thermal bases were at around 10,500, but thermals were getting disorganised and
scratchy much above 9,500.

Still a fine day for soaring.
