I love foggy days. The little airplanes are afraid to fly in the fog.

I like ponies and apple pie.
Did you have a point?
And I did plenty of flying on foggy days in a little airplane.

pigs stink, ponies taste good. A tart cherry pie is the
best.

A little tart now and then is a good thing.

Probably to see us analyze, infer, suggest, interpret and argue. Not
that anyone here ever does any of that.

I like the new direction our thread is taking. :-P

Thread? I thought you were a pilot... now you're sewing.
Do you sew in your plane in the fog with your pig? or your pony? and who's
eating the tart's cherry pie? the pig, the pilot, or the pony?

Sew, some pilots are ponies, some pilots are pigs and some are tarts...
My little airplane likes fog, it just doesn't like finding things in the
fog.
How did this get from apple pie to cherry pie?
If I had a hog, I could ride it to pony up to my plane in the fog.

We used to use the little airplanes to seed the fog so that conditions would
improve enough for the big airplanes to fly.

Clear, windy days are even better, as most of the amateur pilots lack
sufficient skills to land in crosswinds. They come out in droves when the
sky is clear, and there is little or no wind.
Most of the little planes are flown by barely qualified senior citizens.

Correctly stated, little airplanes could care less whether it is foggy or
not. It is the little airplane pilots, some of whom, are afraid to fly in
the fog.
Many are not.
