SSA website down?

I can't get to the SSA website. Anyone else have this
problem?
It's just past 1115 hrs Zulu (0715 eastern daylight
time) on Wednesday, 20 SEP 06.

I was hoping to find a race report for Day 2 at New
Castle, VA, USA

I cannot reach it either now. There was some intermittant connectivity
yesterday also. Anyway, I had the results cached:

Maybe they didn't pay the domain registration fee in order
to save money?? "Penny wise, pound foolish", and all that.

No the name is registered through 2010. So don't start rumors.

The direct IP address does not work either, so it is not a DNS issue
anyway. www.glider.com and www.eglider.org are also down. I sent a note
to the admin.

People used to complain about "the thread that would not die..."

Shouldn't we try to keep this one up an kicking??? For grins? ;-)

Maybe start a rumor that the SSA Excom was abducted by aliens and
replaced with exact duplicates??? Keep a watchful eye on them next
time you see them...make sure they thermal in the correct direction...
